These rules are to be used as a guide for all Elite Poker Australia Events

General Terms & Conditions

  1. These General Terms & Conditions form part of the Terms & Conditions for all events listed below
  2. The ruling of the Tournament Director is final
  3. You will abide by the rules stated in Elite Poker Australia's Rules Of Poker and any other rules imposed by the Tournament Director
  4. You will abide by any additional rules set or imposed by the Venue in which the event is being held
  5. If you are barred from a Venue, you are also barred from Elite Poker Australia for the same period of time or more at the discretion of the Tournament Director
  6. Once you have paid any required or optional fees, they become non refundable - even if you choose not to take your seat at the event
  7. If you are removed from an event by the Tournament Director or the Venue, your fees paid are forfeited and you are not eligible to claim any portion of prizes for that event
  8. You must be at least 18 years old to play - acceptable proof of age must be produced if requested by the Tournament Director - you will be removed from the event (or refused entry) if you fail to produce acceptable identification
  9. The following identification is acceptable as proof of age: (1) Current Australian driver's licence or learner's permit with photograph (2) A government issued proof of age card (3) A current Australian or foreign passport (4) A Keypass Card
  10. The Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse entry to an event by any player
  11. You agree to receive SMS messages related to promotions or events. You can opt out by replying STOP or emailing contact@elitepokeraustralia.com.au
  12. You agree to having your photo taken and any or all details of an event or your participation being published on the Elite Poker Australia Website, Facebook page, or any other online, print, social, radio, or television media as determined by Elite Poker Australia
  13. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice

Turbo Challenge Terms & Conditions

  1. The Turbo Challenge starts 30 minutes prior to the main game start time
  2. Late registration is not permitted
  3. The Turbo Challenge runs for a maximum of 25 minutes
  4. Players must pay $5 to enter the Turbo Challenge
  5. Once you have paid your fee, it becomes non refundable - even if you choose not to take your seat at the event
  6. Blinds will increase everytime a player is knocked out
  7. Prizes will be awarded based on the number of entrants. Example: 7 entrants would pay 1st and 2nd place with a $15 entry and 3rd place with $5 when the main game is a $15 buy in
  8. If the 25 minute time limit is reached, prizes will be awarded in order of chip stack size from largest to smallest
  9. Your prize is payable as the main game entry fee (or part thereof) only and cannot be taken as cash
  10. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to cancel the Turbo Challenge at any time
  11. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice

Royal Jackpot Terms & Conditions

  1. You must pay your $1 jackpot fee prior to being seated in an event to be eligible to claim the prize
  2. A royal flush will pay 100% of the jackpot amount
  3. While the jackpot amount is above $1000, a straight flush will pay 20% of the jackpot amount
  4. To win the jackpot, you must have a royal (or straight) flush in play (it is OK if all players have folded to your bet)
  5. To win the jackpot, you cannot run the flop, turn or river after everyone has folded to see if you would have acheived the royal (or straight) flush
  6. To claim the jackpot, your hole cards must be tabled with the board cards and verfied by the Tournament Director. If your hole cards or board cards are at any stage mucked or discarded prior to verification, you forfeit your eligibility to claim the jackpot
  7. If you are removed from the event by the Torunament Director or Venue after winning the jackpot, you forfeit your eligibility to claim the jackpot
  8. The jackpot amount will be shown on the website and is an estimate
  9. The jackpot amount will be the total amount paid in jackpot fees inclusive up to midnight of the day prior. Fees collected on the day of the win are not part of the jackpot amount for that claim
  10. The jackpot amount will be paid 21 working days after the jackpot win has been verified
  11. Jackpot verification is generally confirmed on the night of the claim, however if a dispute is raised the verification is subject to investigation with the Tournament Director, players involved and venue staff. Verification can take up to 30 consecutive days - if verification is unable to be achieved within 30 consecutive days, all claims to the jackpot are rendered void and the jackpot amount remains in the jackpot prize pool
  12. If the jackpot amount is over $500, the jackpot amount will be paid via EFT to an Australian bank account only. Jackpot amounts under $500 may be paid in cash or via EFT at the winners discretion
  13. If the jackpot winner fails to provide acceptable EFT details within 10 working days of the request, the jackpot is forfeited
  14. If the jackpot is won multiple times on the same day, it will be awarded to the person who won it first subject to verification
  15. To claim the jackpot amount, you agree to having your name published on the Elite Poker Australia Website, Facebook page, or any other online or print media as determined by Elite Poker Australia
  16. To claim the jackpot amount, you agree to having your photo taken with the winning hand and any or all details being published on the Elite Poker Australia Website, Facebook page, or any other online, print, social, radio, or television media as determined by Elite Poker Australia
  17. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to cancel the jackpot at any time
  18. In the event the jackpot is cancelled, any jackpot prize pool will be distributed to other prize pools as determined by Elite Poker Australia
  19. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice

Special Events

  1. Elite Poker Australia may run Special Events from time to time. These events include finals, promotions and any other event that is not part of a standard weekly game
  2. Entry to Special Events may require qualification or special pre-requisites. Any requirements for a Special Event will be made available through one or more of the following: (1) the Elite Poker Australia website (2) SMS (3) your Tournament Director (4) Facebook
  3. If you are unable to attend a Special Event, any entry fees paid (either directly or indirectly via sources such as the carry over) are forfeited and non-refundable
  4. Tickets to Special Events may or may not be transferrable. Information on eligibility to transfer a ticket will be made available on a per event basis through one or more of the following: (1) the Elite Poker Australia website (2) SMS (3) your Tournament Director (4) Facebook
  5. If you are suspended or barred from Elite Poker Australia during the period of the Special Event, you will not be elligble to play and any fees paid will be forfeited and non-refundable
  6. Elite Poker Australia is not liable for any other costs or damages and claims incurred in relation to participating in a Special Event
  7. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to bar any player from participating in a Special Event
  8. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to cancel a Special Event and any prizes at any time
  9. Elite Poker Australia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice
